Dear brothers and sisters, this is no ordinary times that we
live in! PM Modi delivered a big blow to the cancer of our society.
Salaried people, educationists, big and small business
people, Politicians, administrators, traders, shop owners, govt. employees, lawyers,
police personnel, contractors, self-employed, house wives and everyone else
whom I have not listed – I have a simple message for all of you. Please read
through.
Today, our govt. is in a situation where they can’t take a
bold step to protect our own people and our own land. We have to bow down to
other “powers” in our region and beyond. Despite being the second most populous
country, we are not allowed to become permanent member of UN Security Council. Despite
being a responsible and peaceful Nuclear power, we are not allowed into groups
like NSG. This is only because we don’t have the same economic power as some of
the other countries, who are blocking us everywhere and not allowing our own
govt. to protect our interests.
PM Modi has not punished us. He has been trying to nudge
us to fall in line – first gently and then a bit rudely when we didn’t comply.
All this is for the good of the country. Your sacrifice today would lead to a
great nation tomorrow – literally tomorrow, if we all stand together.
India is considered an emerging market and is growing at a
fast pace. This was possible even with just about 1% of all Indians pay Income
tax! What if the rest of the people paid income tax! India would become the
richest country in the world overnight.
Brothers and sisters, just imagine the power of such a
country! PM Modi has given us a great opportunity to start from fresh. Let us
all take a pledge that from now on, we shall not take short cuts. We shall pay
income tax and other taxes as applicable, without being forced. We shall obey
the rule of land in letter and in spirit. We shall do the right things.
